Links to STEM Companies in Industry
The Toot Hill STEM initiative is building links with a number of local companies who have been fantastic in supporting our students with a number of initiatives including: Work experience, Site visits, Visiting school and giving careers guidance.
The number of companies includes:
- TLA, Bingham - Electrical Engineering
- John Deere, Langar - Agricultural Engineering
- Tarmac, Barnstone - Chemical, mechanical, electrical & Process Engineering
- Boots, Nottingham - Process Engineering
- William Saunders, Newark - Civil Engineering
- Willmot Dixon Construction - Civil Engineering and Construction
- John Deere - Agricultural Engineering, Langar/Upper Saxondale: 4 x trips, on site STEM days
- RPS Architects: On site STEM day
- Manchester Airport Group, East Midlands Airport: On site STEM day
- EON: STEM days (a few years ago now though)

The University of Nottingham visited to deliver the excellent STEM Superstore workshops to 48 yr 9s (12/03/2024) - Year 7 STEM Roadshow!
