School Day
Toot Hill School operates a 29-period week with split break and lunchtimes for KS3/KS4. The opening hours where compulsory attendance is expected are between 8.25 am and 3:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, and 8.25 am to 2:10 pm on Friday. Consequently, the school is open for 32 hours and 5 minutes a week. The school will be open for 32.5 hours from September 2023 in accordance with government guidance and the school will be consulting with stakeholders this academic year regarding the structural changes to the day.
