Level 2 Further Maths

AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics

The Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics qualification is designed to extend high achieving students by further developing their mathematical skills. It stretches and challenges them on content studied in their GCSE Mathematics qualification, in particular algebra and geometry, while also introducing them to calculus and matrices.

The course is intended for students who are expected to achieve a high GCSE Mathematics grade and who are likely to progress to studying Mathematics at A-Level and possibly Further Mathematics. (Please note that this qualification is not a pre-requisite for studying Mathematics or Further Mathematics at A Level)
