Toot Hill Army Visit

Our year 10 students have been working with the Armed Forces. (Whole School - 16/03/2022)

The Army came into School to do some team working skills with Year 10 females. The students took part in 3 activities: building a stable bridge, learning about first aid and the Medical roles in the Army and the work they do and finally building a car.

The students were highly engaged with the activities and demonstrated both teamworking and leadership skills.

The feedback from the students was excellent "I loved doing the activities with the Army this morning" "it was great to work together as a team" and finally "my team's car was amazing, it was strong enough to not only travel but carried my weight too". Thank you to the Army for offering exceptional opportunities to our young people.
