How to borrow books from the Learning Lounge

Due to COVID-19 the Learning Lounge is currently bubbling with Year 7. This means that no other year group may access the area. However, that does not mean they cannot borrow books. The Learning Lounge is now running a click and collect service. All students can access the library's catalog of books by logging onto Eclipse. You can find links to Eclipse on the home page of the school website (please see picture). All students have been told their login details via their school email but if you forget you can get in touch with us. For those who are unsure of what to read next you can complete our book selector form which can be found on the Learning Lounge's page on the school website.
When you find a book you would like to borrow please contact us and we will hold those books for 72 hours. You will then be able to collect your books on your year groups click and collect day. The year group click and collect days are below:
- Year 7: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (lunch only on Friday)
- Year 8: Tuesday & Thursday
- Year 9: Tuesday & Thursday
- Year 10: Monday (break only) &Wednesday
- Year 11:Friday (lunch only)
- College:Friday (mobile library to college from 9am-11.30am)
Students can still get involved with activities in the Learning Lounge by completing quizzes. These quizzes can be found on our Wakelet page. Parents can also keep up to date with everything Learning Lounge by following us on twitter @lounge_learning or listen to our weekly podcast Lounging with Books (this can be found on podomatic, iTunes or spotify). On the Learning Lounge's page, on the school website, you will find every link you need to stay in touch.
If you have any queries or want to borrow a book please contact Ms Marris by emailing cmarris@toohtillschool.co.uk.
