Amazing composition workshop for GCSE and A level students!
A massive thank you! to the the Firebird trust for funding the most incredible day for our GCSE and A level music students yesterday. Six professional musicians: a composer / trombone player, soprano saxophonist, local keys player, percussionist, bass player and acordian player visited Toot Hill and inspired out students with their incredible ability to improvise and help shape the students' compositional ideas in such a musical and satisfying way. We were all truly touched by the end results. Thank you so much to the musicians of the Komposit project for your inspiration and expertise. It was such a privilege to be part of it.
