Alexandra Sheppard Short Story Competition
On the 23rd of October author, Alexandra Sheppard, will be visiting the Learning Lounge. She is the author of 'Oh My Gods' and will be presenting a workshop on mythology and how to write a modern myth. Before her visit Alexandra has set Toot Hill School's budding writers a competition.
The rules of the competition are as follows:
- Read the first 3 chapters of ‘Oh My Gods’ – found in the LL or borrow the book!
- Then write a short story about a normal teenager who has a Greek God relative and how this affects their lives! (short story is usually between 300-800 words)
- Open to all year groups.
- You can only enter once!
Start: 9th of September
End: 14th of October

Alexandra will pick the winner and they will receive a special prize when she visits. All entries will receive 30 credit points from the Learning Lounge for their efforts.
