Author Visit: Matt Dickinson
Film maker and author Matt Dickinson kept year 8 enthralled with stories of his adventures which inspired his books. Matt told us about filming in the Amazon with Bear Grylls, his numerous trips to Everest and how reading when he was younger inspired him to tackle these challenges. Later, students from years 7-10 joined Matt in a debate over some of the ethical issues around so many people attempting to conquer Everest each year.
