World Book Day 2022

This year the Learning Lounge is back celebrating World Book Day! Students can take part in a variety of activities.

Whats That Book: All students can take part in our WBD challenge, 'What's That Book'. We have scattered book posters around the school which students can find using our clue sheet. However, the book titles have been hijacked by Teachers' names. Students must find the book and research its true title! Completed challenges should be returned to the LL and students will receive credits. This will run until March 10th 2022.

Blind Date with a Book: The Learning Lounge has emailed every KS4 & KS5 student a form called 'Blind Date with a Book'. If students want to take part, they need to fill out the form detailing their reading interests. The Learning Lounge will then match them with their blind date book. When students receive their books they will get a companion book mark. On this bookmark they need to write down detailed plot points. Upon finishing the book, and the bookmark, they will receive 25 credits! If you have signed up, we will let you know when your date is ready via school email.

Happy Reading!
