Charlie's Success
After a brilliant results day we would like to offer a huge congratulations to Charlie for his recent success in being scouted and signing for West Coast Renegades Ice Hockey Club based in Utah. Charlie will be following his dream, playing AAA hockey and will be flying to America to start this fantastic journey today.
AAA Hockey is the highest level of youth hockey in the United States plus, has one of the best development programmes. There are several AAA hockey teams throughout the States, so he will be travelling and playing all over America which in itself is an amazing opportunity. He will also be continuing with his schooling at a private school linked to the Club, on part scholarship as a result of his recent strong GCSE grades.
Dr Eardley adds, “A huge congratulations to Charlie for signing a contract with a major team in the United States. Charlie has embodied the school’s ‘Work Hard, Be Kind, Take Pride’ ethos and thoroughly deserves this amazing opportunity. Furthermore, he has remained incredibly humble throughout the hockey selection process. We wish him all the best for the future and look forward to seeing and hearing about his experiences in AAA ice hockey.”
We can’t wait to hear more about Charlie’s journey in the coming months and want to wish him the very best luck.
