Introducing Shelf Help

What is Shelf Help?

  • Shelf help is a shelf dedicated to issues surrounding mental health, eating disorders and challenges a lot of young people face.
  • This shelf can be found in the Learning Lounge.
  • The books available are both non-fiction and fiction.
  • These books are a perfect resource for PSHE projects, those who want to know more about these issues and for those who may need guidance of what to do next.
  • Our shelf will make sure you leave the Learning Lounge feeling positive.
  • Shelf Help is also equipped with a teddy bear which is available for hugs! However, they currently don't have a name. Have your say and name the Shelf Help teddy bear -> for more information visit the LL desk.

If you want to discuss any of these issues or you need more help which cannot be found on the shelf do not hesitate to talk to your tutor, Learning Support, Student Services, Mrs Gray, Learning Lounge or visit The Hub.

Remember, if you need to talk any member of staff will be there for you. #ShelfHelp.
