Ada Lovelace Day: Year 8 Girls in STEM morning - Tuesday 12th October
Tuesday sees the first of our STEM mornings and this one's just for girls!
In celebration of Ada Lovelace, a female STEM hero who is widely respected as one of the world first computer programmers, schools across the region will be logging on to the online parts of the event as well as completing a STEM challenge in the room.
There are only 24 places, so year 8 and 9 girls will need to collect a ticket from heads of year or from Mr Walters in DT5 and hand them back ASAP.
It looks set to be a great morning and a fantastic chance to see how STEM skills can be applied in a cross curricular challenge.
Sound good? Act fast as this is bound to fill up quickly.
Any questions get in touch with Mr Walters via email or pop in to DT5.
